Chapter 8: Meet The Family!! Part 2

Tokyo, Japan



After a long flight, Our heroes have now arrived at their destination, Japan. As soon as they touched down, the first thing they have to do is to go outside because a limo will be waiting for them that will take them to the worker's home where Miku will be staying until they are given the clear for her to go back. Ofcourse, protecting her is the 2nd objective that Zevon gave to Gordon and the others. Along the way, many people were excited in meeting Miku in person, some of them were her biggest fans. Once they were able to get out of the building, they got into the limo and head off to their friends home. Ofcourse Japan is one of advanced places for technology, but all that came from Tokyo, that is now named, "City of Tommorrow" and it certainly fits it. Wherever our heroes looked, they saw amazing equipment that they have never seen before. From AI controlled vehicles to jets that can fly in cities without getting into an accident.



Xtremis: I gotta say, I've never seen technology like this back where I come from

Worker: Well, if you have studied your history, Tokyo is the place where it all began to earn it's name The City of Tommorrow

TechEDGE: And, from what I studied, this is one of the places where the United States and other countries around the world gets it's tech

Worker: Correct my friend, and also Miku, there are some people who would like to meet you back at my home

Hatsune Miku: Really? Who are they?

Worker: You'll see when we get there, I'm sure their gonna be very happy to see you after so long



And so, their drive to his house still continues while driving through The City of Tommorrow.

Worker's Home

It was a very long drive, but they were able to get to their destination. Once they all got their stuff and sent the driver back, they all went inside to see the people who are excited to see her. Once they got inside, it was amazing than the way it looks outside. The house has a living room, dining room, a kitchen, a basement, a 2nd floor with 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms, and a backyard. If that wasn't enough, they also got the chance to meet his family, a loving wife, 2 boys and a girl. The trio decided to have a look around the house while the worker leads Miku to the people that he said are waitng for her.



Hatsune Miku: So, who are these people sir?

Worker: Oh, I think you'll recognize them the moment you see them



So he took her outside to the backyard and when she saw them, she knew exactly who they were, it was her friends, stars who are like her.



Everyone: Welcome back Miku!!!

Worker: Well Miku, do you now remember them?

Hatsune Miku: Ofcourse....their all of my friends

Kagamine Rin: Miku!!!

Hatsune Miku: Rin!!!

Kagamine Rin: "hugs her" I missed you so much!!

Hatsune Miku: Yeah, I missed you too Rin

Kaito: It's been awhile Miku

Hatsune Miku: Katio, how were your oversea concerts lately?

Katio: Oh, they were going well, that is until the part when I became real just changed everrything

Megurine Luka: That moment was life changing for all of us Katio

Katio: I KNEW THAT!!!



Back at the house, while checking a room, Gordon noticed Miku talking to her friends outside, so after he checked the room he went outside, but he didn't do it the old fashion way like any other pperson would do. He went out through the window and acrobatically go his way down to meet up with Miku.



TechEDGE: Hey Miku, Who are these people?

Hatsune Miku: Oh, these are my friends, this is Kagamine Rin

Kagamine Rin: Nice to meet you "Shakes hands with him"

Hatsune Miku: Katio

Kaito: Sup

Hatsune Miku: Rin's brother, Kagamine Len

Kagamine Len: Awesome to meet ya "Shakes hands with him as well"

Hatsune Miku: And lst but not least, Megurine Luka

Megurine Luka: An honor to meet you young man

TechEDGE: Please, the honor is mine

Kagamine Rin: So, from what I heard, your a superhero?

TechEDGE: Well, I...guess you can say that

Kagamine Len: What's your powers?

TechEDGE: Well, I have the ability to break down technology and make it into something new

Kaito: Cool

Megurine Luka: Also, why are you here in the first place?

TechEDGE: Well, we've been given orders by our chief to protect Miku, the rest is classified

Megurine Luka: I see

Kagamine Rin: What about the person who tried to hurt Miku at her concert there?

TechEDGE: We are hunting him down and I can assure you, we won't stop until this terrorist group is nothing but a distant memory



"Stayed quiet for a few seconds until Xtremis broke it"



Xtremis: Hey guys, if your hungry already, there's food on the table, so you better get here before it gets cold

Katio: Well, can't talk any longer with an empty stomach

TechEDGE: Well, What are we waiting for? let's chow down!!



So all of them went back inside to have some lunch.

Later....



After having lunch, Drake, Diana, and Gordon got the signal for their mission to start, so they told thheir newfound friends that they have to excuse them for a moment. They didn't mind and the trio then looked for a place to listen to the message carefully. One of the places that they went to was the basement. Once they got there, they then turned the call on so that they can communicate with Zevon back home.



Zevon{In Radio}: Drakke, guys, do you copy?

Drake: We hear ya loud and clear chief

Zevon{In Radio}: Good, now listen carefully. Just a few days ago before you three got to Japan, we spotted Brute Flaximus in the airport just 3 days ago

Gordon: Looks like he knew that we would be finding him

Zevon{In Radio}: We've contacted one of our own in Japan about him and just a few hours ago, he's been spotted in a car that is headed towards the docks, we aren't sure why, but it must be connected to Project Metalhead

Gordon: Project Metalhead? What's that?

Drake: Project Metalhead is something that The Dark Sages have been working on behind their backs. We aren't sure what this is exactly, but all we know is that it'ss totally up to no good

Zevon{In Radio}: So, here is your mission: Find out what their doing in the docks and, if possible, bring in Brute Flaximus in for questioning, understand?

Diana: Understood chief

Zevon{In Radio}: Good, I wish you three the best of luck, over and out "call ends"

Diana: Well, we got our mission, what should we do now?

Drake: The answer is simple: We do what were told to do, but we'll need to keep our gaurd up, it's probably gonna be heavily gaurded

Diana: That's true, but, what about Miku? we can't just leave her here

Drake: But doesn't she have her friends there?

Diana: Even if, the enmy would still have a chance at kidnapping her

Drake: True, then one of us will have to stay here while the rest do the mission....



"Stays quiet until Gordon broke the silence"



Gordon: I'll stay

Diana: Are you sure Gordon?

Gordon: Remember, I told you guys before that I have talked with her ever since before she came here, also, I'm probably one of the people that she can trust

Drake: He does have a point, but you have to make sure that she stays here, we don't want any surprises

Gordon: Don't worry, you can count on me Drake

Drake: Then it is settled, you will stay herer while me and Diana go to the docks to investigate

Diana{In her head}: This is the first time I'm the only one with Drake, this is so heavenly



And with that, Drake and Diana went off to their mission while Gordon stayed behind to protect Miku from the enemy or anyone else who tries to harm her.

At the docks...



????: Is everything going as planned commander?

Commander Brute: Yes sir, all the cargo is being shipped and will soon be on their way back to you

????: Good, also, did you hire him as I told you?

Commander Brute: You mean that Warrior-For-Hire dude, yeah, I did

????: Excellent, with him at our side, those VIRTUAL bafoons will never see what's in store for them if they dared to come in here "Looks at the Warrior-For-Hire" Also, young man, you better make sure that those fools don't disrupt our plans

???: I can assure you my lord, I will not let you down

????: We'll see when the report comes in "Transmission ends"

Commander Brute: Unless you want to get your pay, I suggest you gear up already and get to your post



The Warrior-For-Hire nodded and went off to get his gear ready for Diana and Drake's arrival, which they are not actually aware of.
