"The sun rises over your hometown and your alarm clock sounds"









You: "You wake up and shut off the alarm" The weekend is finally here!! "You get out of bed and head for the bathroom" Time to start the day off good!!









A few minutes after you took a bath and got dressed into your casual weekend attire, you went downstairs to the kitchen to have breakfast. When you got there, you saw a note on the refrigerator and after close examination, it turned out to be from your mom. Here is what the note says:









"Hey sweetie, by the time you read this, I'm already out getting the car checked and doing some grocery shopping. I won't be back until later this afternoon, but I left your breakfast in the oven. Just heat it up.

You: "You shrug" Eh, she's the boss. "You walk over to the oven and bring out a plate with eggs and bacon"









After you got your breakfast out, you went towards the microwave and placed your food inside. Once that was done, you closed the door and set the time for one minute of heat time.









You: "You grab the remote" Wonder what's on this morning. "You turn on the TV"

Narrator: "News Network comes on as you went towards the fridge" Channel Seven News bringing you this special report.

Reporter: It has been a day since the incident that transpired in Jump City. Yesterday night, all could've been chaos until Robin and two other heroes, came and fought the mysterious visitor from space.

You: "You bring out the orange juice and close the fridge door" No mention of me? Now that's rude.

Reporter: As of now we have no confirmation of the extraterrestrial's location, but citizens around the city area are recommended to avoid contact with the suspect and report to local authorities immediately.









"Microwave stops and you bring your breakfast to the table"









You: "You sit down" The only reason she caused a ruckus was to get her handcuffs off. Although she could've asked for help nicely than just wreck everything. "You take a bite of your food"









Unlike everyone else near or in Jump City, you were actually wondering how Starfire was doing and where she could be right now. There have been many sightings of her, but turned out to be false due to pranksters and celebrity-wannabes. Not only that, you were still wondering why the Tamaranean Princess kissed you right after you helped her take off her handcuffs. Well, that's all gonna change soon.









"!!BURP!!"









You: Man, nothing like a good ole breakfast to start the day. "You stand up and stretch a bit" Now, what should I do ne-









"Sudden loud crashing sound occurs and catches your attention"









You: What was that?









"Another loud crashing sound occurs"









You: "You walk to the broom and grab it" That came from mom's room.









You then went upstairs and head for your mother's room to investigate the source of the noise. Once you were at the doorstep, you looked inside and saw something you could've believe to be true. It's Starfire!! Inside your house!! You weren't sure how she was able to get inside, but Star seems to be looking through your mom's belongings just for curiosity.









You(In head): "You go back into hiding afterwards" I must be hallucinating. Y-Yeah!! I must be seeing things. When I close my eyes after three seconds, she won't be there. "You close your eyes"









One....




....Two....




....Three









You(In head): "You open your eyes" Did it work?









To find out, you looked back to your mother's room, only to find out that-









Starfire: "Appears right in front of you" Greetings.

You: YAAAAH!! "You get spooked and fall on your butt" Ouch.

Starfire: Oh my goodness!! Are you alright?

You(In head): Yup, she's really here. "You get back on your feet"

You: What are you doing here?

Starfire: Studying your species culture and customs. And I must say, it is very different from my homeworld.

You: No kidding.









"You pick up the broom and set it aside on the wall"









You: Anyways. "You catch Starfire's attention" What's your name?

Stafire: In your language, it would be "Star Fire".

You: Starfire huh? Never heard a name like that before, but awesome.

Starfire: "Awesome"? What does that mean?

You: It's another term people like me use other than great or amazing. You get what I'm saying right?

Starfire: "Nods to your question"

You: Also, I've been meaning to ask you something since last night.

Starfire: What is it?

You: Umm...."You blush in embarrassment" Why did you kiss me?

Starfire: "Kiss"? I do not understand.

You: Last night, you placed your lips onto mine and I've been wondering why you did that since.

Starfire: Oooooooooh. I touched my lips with yours to perform the "transfer of knowledge".

You: What does that mean?

Starfire: It means I am able to speak any known language by lip contact.









"Awkward silence occurs as cricket noises are heard in the background"









You: Your joking right?

Starfire: I do not understand this "joking". What does it mean?

You: "You sigh as you face palm your head" Never mind.

You(In head): So she can speak any language by kissing people. Talk about a weird power if you ask me.









"Front door opens and closes"









Starfire: "You and Star notice this" What is that?

Mom(Downstairs): (M/n), I'm home!!

You: Oh no, it's my mom!!

Starfire: Your mother? What about your mother?

You: "You look at the clock" She's home early. "You realize something" If she finds out about Starfire, she'll freak out and call the authorities!! And who knows what they'll do to her after that....

Mom(Downstairs): (M/n), you home sweetie?

You: "You snap back to reality" Y-Yeah!! Just, you know, sweeping the place to make sure it's clean.

Mom(Downstairs): That's nice dear.

You: "You notice Starfire walk towards the ground floor" WOAH WOAH WOAH WOAH!! "You grab her hand and stop her" What do you think your doing!?

Starfire: Meeting your mother, why? Is there a problem?

You: Of course there's a problem!! How do you think she'll react to meeting someone from another planet!?

Starfire: Oh.

Mom(Downstairs): (M/n). "You and Star look to the stairs and see her shadow coming up" Who're you talking to?

You: "You open the door of your room" Get inside.

Starfire: Are you sure?

You: Of course I'm sure!! JUST GET INSIDE!!

Starfire: Well, okay. "She enters the room and you close the door instantly"









"Your mom finally arrives at the second floor and walks up to you"









Mom: Who was that?

You: Who's what?

Mom: The person you were talking to a few minutes ago.

You: Huh? I wasn't talking to anyone but myself.

Mom: Are you sure?

You: Absolutely. "You start to sweat"

Mom: "Notices that your sweating" Are you alright?

You: Y-Yeah. "You wipe the sweat off of your head" Just worn out from sweeping the house while you were gone.

Mom: Oh, okay. "Goes back downstairs" Make sure to wash up okay? I'll fix up lunch as soon as possible.

You: Sure thing mom.









"Your mother leaves second floor and you rushed into your room"









You: That....was close.

Starfire: "Looks around your room" So, this is your sleeping quarters?

You: Yeah, your right.









"Starfire starts to walk around the room, looking at all your belongings until she stumbled upon a family photo on your desk and picked it up"









Starfire: What is this?

You: It's a picture of me and my family. That was taken years before you came here.

Starfire: "Looks at your photo" I see. "Sad expression appears on her face"

You: "You notice this and walk up to her" What's wrong?

Starfire: Like you, I too have a family of my own. But we never had a happy life.

You: Why's that?

Starfire: My homeworld of Tamaran is plagued with constant war. My people and the Gordanians have fought for many years until I gave them a proposition. One that would hopefully bring peace to my planet.

You: And that would be?

Starfire: Surrendering myself to their ruler, Trogaar, and becoming his prize for the rest of my life.

You(In head): Wow, she would go that far to bring peace to her planet and her people. Kudos to her.

You: That's pretty interesting Starfire, but how did you end up here on Earth though?

Starfire: After my surrender, I was supposed placed in Lord Trogaar's ship too be transported to the Gordanian homeworld. But because of my rage, I managed to sabotage their ship and make it stop at Earth. After that, I fought my way out and flew towards your planet.

You: And then you crash landed in Jump City last night.

Starfire: Correct.

You: This is some heavy stuff. "You think for a moment and look at her" So what happens now?

Starfire: Trogaar and his men won't stop at nothing to find me. I could hide, but that cannot happen.

You: Why?

Starfire: If I don't return to Trogaar, he will destroy your planet to force me out of hiding.









When you heard this, you could've believe that someone would go that far just to find a person like Star. You wished this wasn't true, but with how Star said about this, it's a hundred percent true.









Starfire: If you'll excuse me, I must take my leave. "Turns around and walks towards your window"

You: Where are you going?

Starfire: To Lord Trogaar. If I don't surrender myself to him, millions of lives will perish. It is the only way. "She starts to walk towards the window"

You: "You grab her hand" I don't think so.

Starfire: "Looks at you with a confused expression on her face" What do you mean?

You: You don't have to give yourself up to this Trogaar guy, there's always another way.

Starfire: Even if you find another way, he'll find me by any means necessary.

You: If any of those means have to do with force, then I won't let him take you.

Starfire: "She blushes upon hearing this" Y-You'd stand up against Trogaar....to protect me?

You: Of course.

Starfire: But what happened yesterday, after what I almost did to you and all those people-

You: That's in the past. What matters to me now is your safety.









This was the first time Starfire had anyone who'd care for her well being. Sure her people and Galfore cared about her, but care from another life form is something she never experienced before.









Starfire: "Bows in respect" Thank you!! Thank you for your kindness!! I am eternally greatful.

You: "You smile" No problem.

Starfire: "Looks at you" That reminds me, I haven't received your name yet so, can you tell me what it is?

You: (First Name) (Last Name), that's my name. But you can just call me (First Name) to make it easier.

Starfire: Very well. It is a pleasure to meet you (M/n). "Smiles"
