"You slowly open your eyes and then you wake up"



You: Another day, another morning. "You yawn and then try to get up, but you feel something pulling your shirt's right short sleeve" Hmm?



When you looked to your right, you found Miia fast asleep beside you. By the looks of it, she must've moved to your bed during the night and decided to sleep next to you.



You: "You poke her face and she starts to wake up"

Miia: "Sits up straight and then yawns before rubbing her right eye"

You: Morning sleepy head.

Miia: Good morning (M/n).

You(In head): "You look at her face" Now that is a face I'll never get tired of. "You smile"

Miia: "Notices that your smiling" What are you smiling about?

You: Nothing. I'm just glad that I got to be your host family Miia.

Miia: "Blushes and then giggles a bit" Oh you.

Later....







After the two of you took a bath and dressed up, you and Miia decided to have breakfast in a diner since you didn't have enough food back home. It was a long walk, but the two of you managed and made it to your destination.



"You and Miia sit down"



Waitress: "Walks up to the two of you and pours some coffee into your cup"  What would you two cuties like to have here?

You: Pancake short stack for me.

Waitress: "Looks to Miia" What about you dear?

Miia: An omelette with meat inside of it please.

You: "You whisper to the waitress" She like's her protein a lot. All lamias are like this.

Waitress: Oooooh, gotcha. "Gives you a wink and then writes your orders down" Alright, I'll be back with your orders. "Goes to the kitchen to give the orders"

You: "You look to Miia" So Miia.

Miia: "Looks at you after you said her name" Yes?

You: Anywhere you'd like to go to after this?

Miia: Let's see. "Thinks for a moment and then has an ideal place to go to" I hear there's gonna be a fireworks display at the bay later tonight.

You: Really?

Miia: "She nods to your question" Heard it on the news back at the house.

You: Then that's where we'll go. "You take a sip of your coffee"





"Awkward silence occurs"



Miia(In head): Come on Miia!! Your a big girl now!! So just suck in your fear and tell him how you feel!! "Breathes in"

Miia: (M/n).

You: "You look at her" Yes Miia?

Miia: There's something I have to tell you.

You: What is it?

Miia: I...."Struggles to answer" I....

You: "I" what?

Miia: I lo-



But before she could admit her feelings to you, the waitress came back with your breakfast and placed them on the table before going to the other customers.



You: So, what was it you were gonna say Miia?

Miia: N-Never mind, I'll tell you tonight instead.

You: If you say so. "You take a bite of your pancakes"

Miia(In head): "Chibi self drops to the ground" I was so close to telling him how I feel!! So close!! "Takes a bite of her omelette"

A few hours later....







You: "Burp" Man, that was a good breakfast huh?

Miia: It sure is. "Burps as well and the two of you laugh a bit"

You: You know. "Miia looks at you" If mom and dad were here, they would've loved to have you Miia.

Mia: You really think so?

You: Yeah.



"Awkward silence occurs"



Miia(In head): This is your chance!! Just do it Miia!! JUST DO IT!!

Miia: "Inhales and exhales" (M/n).

You: "You look at her"

Miia: Back at the diner, I didn't get to tell you something before our food came.

You: I thought you said you were gonna tell me that tonight?

Miia: I've changed my mind. And also, I don't think you'll hear me from the fireworks going off and the crowds around us.

You: Makes sense.

Miia: Okay, here goes nothing.



She then grabs your cheeks and then slowly reels you in for a kiss. You didn't resist when your lips collided with hers, you just go with the flow. The two of you kept kissing for a few more seconds and after that, you stopped.



You: Why did you do that out of the blue Miia?

Miia: "Looks at you while blushing" Because I want to tell you, that I love you.

You: "Your eyes widen after hearing her say those words and then you smiled" You really mean it?

Miia: "Nods to your question"

You: Awww. "You hug her and then she hugs you back"

Miia: I love you, darling.

You: Love you too.

Later that night....







Hours later, you and Miia went to the bay to watch the fireworks display just like everyone else around you. You all watched as fireworks went off in the sky and display a beautiful variety of colors.



You: I have to admit, this is awesome.

Miia: We should do this more often.

You: "You look at her and then look to the sky" Yeah, I guess your right. "Miia rests her head onto your shoulder"



(Somewhere in the crowd....)



Smith: "Opens her soft drink can and looks at you and Miia" Those two have a bright future ahead of them. "Starts to drink her soda"
